The Duleep Trophy is the first event of the domestic season and has always been seen as an important competition for players looking to move up in Indian cricket. The 2025 season will run from August 28 to September 15 at the BCCI’s newly developed Centre of Excellence Grounds in Bengaluru.
This year the tournament is back to its zonal format. Six teams are playing - North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone, Central Zone and North East Zone.
