India will face United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday, September 10 in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 event. The Suryakumar Yadav-led will start as overwhelming favorites, and will look to make a roaring statement on why they are also billed as favorites to lift the Continental Cup title. Ever since clinching the T20 World Cup 2024, the Men in Blue have adopted a fearless brand of cricket, the flame of which was set by Rohit Sharma.
Despite losing few early wickets also, the management has a simple message to batters - Marte Jao. It is this bold approach that has seen India rake totals in excess of 250 several times last year. Batting is no doubt the stronger suit, but the team's bowling also looks fearsome with Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav and Chakaravarthy in the mix.

UAE will have their task cut out to stop this mighty Indian batting attack. If their bowlers don't bowl disciplined line and length, then they are in for a long, unforgiving treatment by the Indian batters.
IND vs UAE: Dubai Pitch Report Dubai International Stadium
The pitch in Dubai is expected to assist batters and bowlers, as it is pretty sportive wicket. However, teams chasing will have a massive advantage on this ground, as dew will have a huge say. The T20 World Cup 2021 saw captains winning the toss and not even having hesitation to chase here. However, India bowling coach Morne Morkel told ESPNCricinfo that the Dubai pitch may have a tinge of grass cover.
"I think when the Champions Trophy was played at that time, there was a lot of cricket on the surfaces here and they looked a little bit tired," Morkel said. "Tonight [Monday] we will have a first look at the surface. And I believe there's quite a bit of a grass covering on the square. The venue is also under heat because of which match timing have been shifted 30 minutes and it might play role in pitch dying out.
