In their last outing, they absolutely steamrolled the Netherlands by 145 runs, putting up a mammoth 380, the highest team total recorded in the competition’s history. Richie Berrington led from the front with a brilliant hundred, while Brandon McMullen also smashed a ton. George Munsey has been their main pillar with the bat all tournament, scoring 665 runs from just 11 innings. With the ball, Brad Currie has stood out, bagging 26 wickets in 12 matches.
Nepal, meanwhile, find themselves stuck at the bottom of the table. They have only managed two wins in 12 games so far, but interestingly, one of those came against Scotland.
Their batting has struggled for consistency. Aasif Sheikh is their top-scorer with 254 runs, which tells its own story. Kushal Bhurtel has been a rare bright spot, leading the way with 12 wickets in the tournament.
Scotland will go in as clear favourites, but Nepal have caused them trouble before.
