Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently opened up about his selection for the Indian cricket team and discussed about his partner, Kuldeep Yadav, who has been chosen ahead of him for the national side.

In a recent conversation with the Hindustan Times, Chahal affectionately referred to his partner in crime, the "Kulcha" duo, Kuldeep Yadav. He praised Kuldeep highly, calling him the number one leg spinner in the world. Chahal also shared insights into the strong bond they share, both on and off the field, highlighting the trust they have in each other, which he cherishes deeply.

"I have loved bowling with Kuldeep. We enjoy great bonding, both on and off the field, and it shows," Chahal stated. "It has been fun bowling with him because we have a similar approach. Both of us love to attack. It's also about partnership bowling—when one of us goes for runs, the other tightens things up from the other end. We always trust each other."

Chahal last played for the Indian playing XI in 2023 and has not featured in any matches since then. Although he was part of the Indian squad that won the T20 World Cup in 2024, he did not play in any of the matches during the tournament. When asked about his potential comeback to the Indian team, Chahal responded straightforwardly:

"I don’t think about what is not in my hands."

This year, Yuzvendra Chahal was signed by PBKS for a record fee of 18 crore, making him the most expensive spinner in the history of the tournament. He is embarking on a new chapter with PBKS, intending to make a comeback to the Indian team. Despite some personal challenges in recent months, Chahal is known for his mental strength and ability to deliver consistently when it matters most.
